I was asked to take part in a virtual One Fair Wage rally with AOC. I spoke about my experiences with Michigan's Unemployment system and frustration with so many low-wage and sub-minimum wage employees being the first to lose their jobs in the pandemic, and yet our system still has not been updated to accommodate these workers.
